This council has spent millions on buying a pub, subsidising hotels and fixing infrastructure blowouts using ratepayers money. Now is the time to help RATEPAYERS.

Manufacturing Hubs Generating Local Employment
#MakeInWyndham
Building resilient communities take years and decades but post COVID-19 we need to focus on significantly expanding the industrial footprint in Wyndham, resulting in multiple avenues of employment generation. High reliance on single-ticket items (such as East Werribee Employment Precinct or Wyndham Stadium) for job creation needs to change. Read More
Maximise The Value Of Rates For Residents
Unmaintained parks and pathways, delayed roadworks and traffic intersections, and millions wasted on project debacles have been common in the past several years. I will firmly support initiatives to increase accountability and transparency from the council. The council functions have moved beyond the 3R’s (Rates, Roads and Rubbish) but that doesn’t mean the very basics get ignored. Read More
Focus on Health and Wellbeing of Families
Easy and quick access to open spaces improves the health and wellbeing of residents. There is an undersupply of sport and recreational facilities, and not a single venue for indoor sports. I will fight for ‘shovel ready’ capital projects that will provide equal opportunities for the entire community to use and enjoy our parks, sport and recreation facilities. Read More
Supporting Our Seniors For Active Participation
Improving the overall health and wellbeing of our seniors and ageing population is essential. I will advocate for the Active Ageing Program to be available across multiple sites in Wyndham, as the inability to travel distances becomes challenging for residents aged 65 and over. Read More
Upskilling and Supporting The Youth
Recent times have made online mediums easily accessible and cost-effective. Courses and workshops covering life skills, mental health, social responsibility and other vital topics can be delivered online to a broader audience at the same time. Read More
There is a growing disconnect between the council’s awareness of the issues that ratepayers face. Reporting an issue and subsequent follow ups become time-consuming due to relevant information often not publicly available. I commit to working towards implementing an online public issues register that will ensure that residents can report, search and track the common problems raised by them. Read More
Inclusive Community Consultation
Engaging the community in articulating their concerns and collaborating to find solutions often becomes a missed opportunity. There’s a wealth of knowledge that we possess but are not always able to tap in. I will work with residents and the council to aggressively promote community consultations and evaluate post-decision outcomes. Read More

Advocacy for me is persistently highlighting an issue until it’s resolved. Unlike other candidates, I promise to continue advocacy for resolution of pressing issues on an ongoing basis regardless of the election season.
Being open and transparent on policies, issues, and their progress is of utmost importance. If elected as a Councillor, I will be working in the best interest of the ratepayers and make sure I am available ‘as and when’ needed.
I moved to Melbourne when I was only 18 and had been living in Melbourne’s west for nearly 20 years. I believe that it is now time for me to serve the community that has given me much love and success all along the years.
